David P. Thomas is an entertainment attorney licensed in New York and Ohio, representing creatives in film, music, theater, and publishing. He advises industry professionals on deal-making, contract negotiations, and project development, with expertise in film finance and tax credit analysis. Also a filmmaker, writer, and director, David teaches cinema at the Cleveland Institute of Art, directs theater, and hosts a weekly radio show. Based in Cleveland with his family, he stays active coaching youth sports and contributing to the arts community.

David lives in Cleveland with his wife and three children. When he’s not practicing law or making films, he coaches AAU basketball and travel baseball, hosts a weekly radio show on WCSB Cleveland, teaches cinema at the Cleveland Institute of Art, and serves as the theater director for the Vcelky Bohemian National Hall Theater.
